MINI-MOTHER'S HELP

This opportunity is for younger applicants, or overseas applicants who may wish to attend an educational course no more than twice weekly.

Applicants who come from EU accession states who are being employed in this category need to register. They must do so within one month of commencing work regardless of the hours they are working or the wage they receive. There will be a fee of £90 to register.

TAX AND NATIONAL INSURANCE:

The employer is responsible for organising the payments of Tax and National Insurance.

DUTIES:

Include general housework, ironing, care of children and may include some sole charge. Driving is an advantage

WORKING HOURS & FREE TIME:

43 working hours weekly. Time to study twice weekly. Two free days, generally at weekends. Baby-sitting two to three nights weekly.

SALARY:

This will vary from £170.00 net weekly. According to age and experience.

ACCIDENTS & HEALTH INSURANCE:

The Quickhelp Agency is not responsible for accidents that happen while working as an au pair. Accidents outside the home are subject to the normal laws of negligence between the applicant and whoever was involved. The laws relating to the liability of the householder govern accidents in the home. It is advisable for all applicants travelling to a foreign country to have personal insurance arranged before leaving home.
